PLR

Are you ready to open your consciousness to more than what you can see? Sometimes you meet someone for the first time and feel as if you know them already. You’re in a town that you’ve never been to before, yet you recognize streets and buildings. You start a new activity and amaze everyone, including yourself, at your natural abilities and intuitive knowledge of it. We often describe such experiences as “déjà vu”: the experience or feeling that the situation, or place, or feeling we are experiencing is not new to us; we have been there before.

Belief in Past lives are common and widely accepted by people in the East. But in the West it is viewed with skepticism or simply rejected. So when Dr. Brian Weiss, an American psychiatrist at Mount Sinai Medical Center, Miami, published his now famous book 'Many Lives Many Masters' which documents how his patient got well through a series of past life regression (PLR) sessions, it created a sensation. That event changed the course of hypnotherapy all over the world as therapists began including PLR in their introductions.

Today PLR is acknowledged as a valuable technique in hypnotherapy. The good news is that you do not have to believe in past lives in order to have a successful PLR session nor does the therapist aim at changing your beliefs! In fact many therapists do not believe in past lives but use the technique effectively for the resolution of their clients' issues.
